According to the British Mirror on 29 July, on 23 July, a woman from Florida, United States, while wandering around a local pet store, stole a £2300-worth pet dog, and the security camera in the shop clearly photographed her entire operation.
The surveillance video showed the woman wearing a purple shirt, a mask and a white baseball cap, carrying a puppy out of the fence and hiding it in her shirt and leaving the pet shop a few minutes later.
The owner of the pet shop, Susan Minix, said, “If the dog is scared of anything, it will not eat, then life will be in danger. We just want to find it so it doesn't get hurt, which is all that matters.” Susan wanted the police and the public to help find the dog with a microchip but no tracking device.
