In Beijing, the 2021 dog Badi Warriors' 5 contest took place at Changping Hua Bin Eco Park. In a group of 230 canine warriors, Hung Hong & Butter (00:17:54), Zhu Fong & LEO (00:25:45) emerged to win the best men and women, respectively.
It was described that the dog Buddy Championships emphasized the concept of “partners” and therefore also broke the “show my pets” model in the design of the competition, which was conducted in a “one dog, one dog” common challenge.
The design of the obstacles to competition is also centred on the cooperation of dogs. Several water-related barriers and water supplies were placed on average on the track. Dog warriors can experience comfortable and smooth participation even in the heat of summer.
This station has set up 10 obstacles with Greek mythology within 3 km of the race. The group of warriors passed through Mayan relics, the Infinity of the Polar Sea, the dome of radiance, the will of the Holy Light, deep-sea expeditions, the land of Icasia, the journey of adversity, the lost temple, the call of Badi and the top of Sicilies.
Impediments involve cooperation across, across, up, up, evenly advancing, scrambling, carrying weight forward, etc. In the face of obstacles such as mudslides, puddles, walls, dwarf nets, tunnels, slopes, sandbags, single-wood bridges and so on, the warriors worked together in a concerted manner and with all their energy.
The event at this station consists of small dogs (40 cm high shoulder, 10 KG heavy weight), medium dogs (40 cm-60 cm high shoulder, 11 KG-30 KG heavy weight) and large dogs (61 cm-70 cm high shoulder, 31 KG-40 KG heavy weight), with medium dogs and large dogs having an elite gender divided according to the gender of the champion.
According to the person responsible for the event, the dog Badi Championship is different from the traditional pet and pet interaction products, “We want to create a platform where people and dogs can be accompanied, trust each other in overcoming the difficulties together, generating deep emotional links and understanding”.
