Novo Horizonte is a Brazilian town located in the southern state of São Paulo. A local police officer found out a day ago that his neighbour raised a bitch looking for a garbage bag in the street and rescued a newly born abandoned puppy. Although the bitch is not yet a mother, it seems to have mother-specific love and sensitivity.
While outside, the police officer saw the black dog Julie digging garbage bags at a garbage collection site on the street, thinking it was looking for food to eat. When he came home, he saw it still there, but his mouth was carrying something. He thought it was a dead cat, but it was not until he came near to find out that it was a first-born pup and was alive.
The officer immediately contacted the local animal carer, Marco Antonio Rodrigues, and sought assistance. But Julie was crying and seemed reluctant to leave the dog, so they left it with the dog.
Rodríguez praised Julie for saying, "It played the most important role in saving this puppy."
But Julie doesn't have milk and can't feed the puppy. So Rodríguez looked for a nanny for a puppy on Facebook, and soon found another female who was already able to nurse, and the dog became the dog's adoptive mother and took care of it every day.
Rodríguez wrote on Facebook, "How wonderful is it that a dog finds a puppy in garbage and another dog is its mother."
The dog was named Chaplin, and it could be adopted soon.
