Recently, a British marathon lover met a stray dog while participating in the Gobi Desert Competition in China. The stray dog followed him all the way, and together completed a 250-km marathon, a wonderful experience that allowed them to develop a deep friendship, and the decision of British men to bring their dogs home to raise them.
Despite the heat and the heat, the sweet little fellow insisted on completing four of the six-stop races with the contestants. During the competition, the dog was also a worthy star in the team.
According to Leonard, the dog was only 18 months old and behaved like a larvae. This is Leonard's first time in the Gobi race in China. Before the seven-day race, he found the dog around the tent and started running with the contestants on the first day. The dog was initially named “Tingtu” by a group of American contestants and was renamed “Gobi”. From the coolest mountain of Tianshan to Black Gobi, the little guy never stopped following and started running with Leonard. It's like "Gobi" lying next to Leonard.
Because the 4th and 5th stations of the race were too hot, the desert temperature in the day could even reach 52 degrees Celsius, and the “Gobi” was officially banned, it completed only four of the 6-stop competition. Leonard remembers a part of the race where he had to carry the Gobi across the river, because the river was too wide for it, and from that moment on, Leonard felt that there was some real bond between him and Gobi.
