Dogs are human best friends, but people always try to hurt them.
In February 2021, a young man from Torquay, Devon County, in the lobby of a local hotel, who openly beat his dog (a Spanish hound) while he was not in his own hands, thought that he had abused the dog undetected and, unexpectedly, the scene had been recorded by a hotel camera.

The dog didn't do anything wrong. It was just resting on the couch in the hotel rest area.
But the boy suddenly broke up and stepped on the dog with his left foot.
He then grabbed the dog and picked it up, violently fell on the nearby couch, and then he kneeled on the dog in a very high-handed manner and strangled it with his hands.
And then he seemed to have had enough to take the dog and fall back on the couch.
At that point, the dog had been unable to move, even though it had fangs and could easily pierce the perpetrator ' s arm, but it had not done so, merely dying in the corner of the couch.
The dog's tolerance and weakness did not spare the boy.
On the contrary, he began to punch the dog in the chest with his fist and strangled it with his hand, hanging it in the air for about three seconds.
Then the boy, like a schizophrenic, suddenly put the dog back on the couch and immediately started touching the dog as if nothing had just happened.
Turns out he heard someone else's footsteps, and then he played a "smoking face."
So, two seconds after he touched the dog, someone pushed the door into the rest area.

When hotel staff were organizing the camera, the boy ' s violent behaviour was accidentally detected and they immediately called the police.
RSPCA (Association for the Prevention of Abuse of Animals) quickly arrived to take over the dog and took it to hospital for treatment.
The police had also begun an investigation into the abuse of dogs by boys, who were soon prosecuted for pet abuse.
At the court hearing, he confessed to the beating of his dog and admitted that he had harmed the dog, and he regretted his behaviour very much.

The boy was disqualified from raising any animal for 10 years, fined and sentenced to one year of community service.
Then, a volunteer from RSPCA (the British Society for the Prevention of Abuse of Animals) started raising a dog, Marshall, who went out every day with a dog, but quickly realized that it was impossible to run and play with a dog every day.
Marshall is a Spanish hound, with great energy and a smart mind, a good material for being a dog, running and playing every day, and certainly wasting its talent.
Thus, in order to lay the groundwork for it, the new owner hired a professional dog trainer for the dog Marshall, who conducted nine months of basic training.
In November 2021, the new owner also signed up for Marshall, the dog, for the “Professional Dog Training Course” offered by Gloucester County Police.
Provost County Dog Trainer, PC Rich Hunt, said, "Marshall is a very smart dog, very energetic, extremely efficient and efficient, both in training classes and in street searches. Just a few weeks ago, it also helped the police search a vehicle stopped in Cheltenham and found a large quantity of A-type drugs hidden in car dashboards.”
Now Marshall is still conducting a canine training course, but it has become a reserve dog, and it needs to work with seven other general purpose dogs.
This December 15th, the Marshall canine training course will be completed and if it succeeds, it will become a search and rescue dog!
The new owner of the dog Marshall, PC Adey Cole, said, “It was less than one year old when it was rescued, but surprisingly, despite its terrible abuse, it was willing to believe unconditionally in humanity. Now the dog Marshall has been 16 months old, and has grown into a work-loving, single-handed dog."
