Seven departments, such as the Homopolis Civilization Office, have joined forces yesterday to launch a special operation for the treatment of uncivilized dogs, focusing on offences such as “the dog does not tie up” and “the dog does not clean up”, and to open a hotline for reporting “the dog does not tie up” (110) and “the dog does not clean up” (123119), which is welcome to report.
It is understood that seven departments, namely, Hofer City Civilization Office, Municipal Public Security Bureau, Municipal City Administration, Municipal Market Supervision Authority, Municipal Housing Security and Housing Authority, Municipal Agricultural Rural Directorate, Municipal Health Board, etc., are jointly conducting an uncivilized walk. Special canine treatment operations, focusing on offences such as “dog walk without rope” and “dog dung without cleaning”, cover areas within the city's two-ring road, the excursion area of Grand Mount, the airport and the built-up area.
The relevant officials of the Civilization Office of the Homo City expressed the hope that this initiative would effectively curb the illegal and uncivilized practices of dogs throughout the city, protect the safety and legitimate rights and interests of the population and create a good security environment for society.
In accordance with the programme, the Public Security Directorate of the City of Hefat is responsible for the registration and control of urban dogs, their retention and the detection and punishment of illegal and irregular dog-keeping. In accordance with the Hoi Fat Market Restriction Dog Regulation (2005 amended), when a dog leaves the house, the dog is chained and held by an adult in violation of the regulations, and the person responsible is liable to a fine not exceeding $100; in serious cases, the dog is confiscated.
Following the launch of this special operation, the public security authorities will undertake treatment of stray dogs in the city, while the city's public security bureau will open a hotline (110) to receive and investigate complaints of offences such as “dogs walking without holding hands”.
