Hero deserves the praise he deserves!
In the early morning hours of 19 January, two police chiefs were lined up in front of a United States hospital in Washington.
When the gate was opened, a police dog came out with a limp in the eyes of everyone.
The dog, named Arlo, joined the canine force in 2009, has been involved in numerous cases for 11 years and is highly successful in maintaining security in the community.
It was about to retire and was ready to go home with the trainers for the rest of the year.
It was not expected that, in a hunt early in January, it had fought heroically against the criminals, but had unfortunately been shot and shot twice in the blood.
The offender was successfully subdued and Araud was taken to the pet hospital on an emergency basis.
After a medical examination, one bullet hit the neck and one bullet hit the back knee of the knee. Arlo is likely to be paralysed for life and needs amputation.
Arlo's colleagues and his friends who learned about the incident were all holding their hearts and praying for it.
Fortunately, Arlo had a very successful surgery, had no complete vertebrate neurological damage, and the bullet in the back was only 1 cm short of a kneecap and did not require amputation.
After a few days of recovery, Arlo can finally be discharged!
My colleagues decided to welcome it out of the hospital, to pay a deep tribute to the “valour warriors” and to welcome it to a new family.
Moreover, when Arlo arrived, the door was crowded with neighbours, friends, firefighters and colleagues from various law enforcement agencies in local and neighbouring counties.
Now Arlo, with the care of his family, is able to play some catch games.
Although Arlo is no longer a full member of the army, its bravery and dedication will never be forgotten!
