In the Russian Autonomous Region of Khant-Mansi, there has recently been a hound attack in which a security guard, after being drunk, was surrounded by at least 12 stray dogs, eventually torn to death.
The man who was reportedly attacked was a security guard born in 1967 and aged 50. He was very friendly to small animals, and during the past two years he had regularly fed nearby stray dogs on his way to work.
At 23 p.m. on the night of the incident, the man left work as usual and was about to return to the van where he lived, on the way to meet a stray dog. This day he did not bring food and was a little drunk, holding only a bottle of beer in his hand, so he did not stop to feed the stray dog, but tried to go straight through the herd.
However, stray dogs began to attack men, one of whom jumped on them.
In the picture, the man looked like he was drunk, he was walking and accidentally tripped by a stray dog. Although he rose quickly, he was tripped again. After falling three times, he was surrounded by dogs. The men continued to resist during the attack, but still did not get rid of the dogs.
The tragedy was recorded in its entirety by nearby monitors, who reportedly died two minutes after being attacked by the first dog. When the body was found the following morning, the police opened an investigation which concluded that the security guard was not able to escape and fight back because he was drunk. It is not known whether action will be taken against the stray dogs.
