“There were six dog injuries yesterday, almost every day for the last week.” On the morning of 20 May, the journalist was told by Dr. Wang Yong, a resident of the Mingzhou Hospital of Zhejiang University.
At the age of 22, Ozawa had a pet cat at his house for six months. Back home from work, he likes to hold cats, whether they eat or play games. A 2-year-old jump has also come and gone. On the evening of the day of the accident, Grandpa was walking around the park with a jump. While he was chatting with the old neighborhood, he jumped on the floor with a stray dog and took the baby to the hospital.

100% rabies mortality

Wang Yong reminds you that the rabies mortality rate is 100 per cent, and do not be vigilant.
He states that rabies are an infectious disease caused by rabies virus infection, which enters the human body mainly through broken skin or mucous membranes. In clinical terms, symptoms such as extreme winds, water fear, osteal spasms and sexual paralysis are most common.
How do you handle first aid after a dog bite?
Wang Yong said that if it was just ordinary scratches and bites, it would have to be washed with soap or live water at the first time, so that it could be washed and squeezed, and saliva removed as much as possible, preferably for more than 15 minutes.
If the bite is severe, such as multiple bites on the head, neck, etc., and deep wounds, the rabies vaccine is accompanied by an anti-rabies serum or rabies immune protein, which can produce protective antibodies.
In what case?
If broken skin (including fresh or unhealed wounds) or mucous membranes (including complete mucous membranes, such as oral, cavity, etc.) are exposed to saliva and secretions of diseased animals, it must be vaccinated against rabies.
Wang Yong reminds that for first-time patients, the hospital's dog injury prevention treatment is mainly based on the “five-shot immunisation” and “two-to-one” immunisation procedures, which apply mainly to children. Specifically: 1 dose per day for 0, 3, 7, 14 and 28 days, for a total of 5 doses.
The “2⁃1⁃” immunization procedure generally applies to adults. Specifically, 2 doses were vaccinated on day 0 (one dose each on the left and one dose on the right upper arm), 1 dose on day 7 and 4 doses on day 21.
Care is taken during the vaccination period not to eat spicy irritating food, to drink alcohol, tea or coffee, to avoid intense exercise or heavy physical labour.
The doctor reminds the public of the following four points during daily contact with the pet:
Timely vaccination of domestic pets; leashing of pets when out;
Avoiding close contact with children in elevators and public places;
Stay away from stray cats and dogs and stay out of touch.
