A 50-year-old Aunt Choi went for a walk with a dog, as usual. It was not expected that one dog would die in a landscape fountain and that the police would immediately take care of it when the nearby population reported it. Based on the circumstances at the site, there was a prima facie suspicion that they had died as a result of electrical failure by the wire in the fountain. Also because of the sudden death of Choi, mothers in their 90s are suspected of being left unattended.
According to media reports, a total of three killings were recorded in the city of Joao Lake, Anhui province, at the end of July. Mrs. Choi was found dead in the fountain with the dog. At a depth of 30 centimetres, the victim was lying on the edge of the fountain and carrying no objects other than keys, which prevented the police from identifying him.
Until 28 July, Ms. Choi ' s sister came home to visit her mother and then came in to find that her 90-year-old mother had fallen to the ground and had not breathed and that she had taken care of her sister without seeing her. She called her sister ' s daughter, Chen, who was working with her husband at Fatty. Xiao Chen and his father heard that Choi was missing, and that the women had gone back to Joo-ho together, and it was only after seeing the announcement posted by the police that she had died.
My aunt told me Grandma died and my mom wasn't home. Chen said that she had received a telephone call from her aunt and immediately returned to the lake. She also found that the mother was still holding electrical wires at the time of her death, as there were wires in the fountains, so she and the dog were suspected of having died as a result of electrocution.
In response, the person responsible for the construction of the fountain indicated that the specific cause of death of the deceased would require a judicial assessment before the results could be known and that the results of the investigation would be used as a basis for accountability.
