A video by Mr. Guan, in the Zhubian district of the crane wall city of Henan province, stated that a yellow dog had bit several passers-by in the streets, with many wounds in the legs and hands. That night, many of the wounded were queuing rabies in hospital. This matter is currently being dealt with by the Public Security Directorate of the Ribham district.
Mr. Guan indicated that on 26 September, at about 6:30 p.m., his child was bitten by the dog near Tarzan Road. At night, when rabies were administered at mother and child health clinics, some 40 citizens were found to have been bitten by the same dog. Since it is not clear whether this is a stray or a domestic dog, everyone ' s medical expenses are paid for themselves.
A citizen who had been bitten by a dog said that the dog had jumped up and kicked several feet before kicking him away.
On the afternoon of 27 September, staff of the Emergency Unit of the Mother and Child Health Hospital in crane city told journalists: “It was true that yesterday many people had been bitten by stray dogs and had come to the hospital for rabies. There are still wounded today, and now the emergency room is full of people. The dog bit about 70 people."
“The wounded are of every age group, but the elderly and the children are more numerous, the degree of injury varies from person to person and the face of a child is bitten.” She said, “We don't know if the dog's been caught, but we're busy treating the wounded and watching the news. Based on the number of people currently attending clinics, it may be at night.”
Nine news outlets contacted the crane city authorities, and the staff said: “It is now a duty of the Public Security Bureau staff to catch dogs”. The staff of the street office at Tarzan Road stated that “the public security department is responsible for the medical expenses of the injured person, and the circumstances are not clear”.
