This 4-year-old “fiscal” dog, Lulu, not only buys food, looks for hidden money, but also has a “specialty” to identify real and counterfeit money, and it's been trying so hard. Ms. Ishi sought out an ad paper of the same size and colour as the $50 paper, wrapped it in a newspaper and ordered it to look for it.
Lulu smelled on two piles of paper, biting down the bag with the money, then turned on the mouth and took out the currency for praise by the owner. Ms. Shi said that Lulu was a pure English-type hot-flying dog from a friend and had never been trained in it. After six months, it suddenly found that it was interested in paper notes and that it could find out where the family hid it.
Once, Ms. Shih's daughter made a $20 note. It didn't react until the bank checked it out! Several experiments were carried out with banknotes of $10, $20, $50 and $100, respectively. Whether mixed in paper or hidden under carpets, the dew was able to extract them “in the middle of every round”, with a success rate of 100 per cent.
