Last Friday (17 March) the Delta police station in Michigan, United States, reported that a 3-year-old girl had been abandoned and naked in a ditch in freezing cold. When the police further questioned the reporting population, they learned of the wonderful experience of the girl ' s discovery.
The Deputy Chief of Police of Delta County, Steve Kositzky, told the local media that, after receiving a call from the public last Friday, he had arrived with emergency relief personnel and learned that the girl had been found naked in a ditch behind her home and that the temperature was near the ice.
Koszki then immediately took the girl to St. Francis Hospital, where, fortunately, she was found not to have suffered cold or any immediately apparent serious injury.
He indicated that the child ' s parents had been identified and that child protection services had been taken to send the child and other children of the family to foster families.
The district prosecutor, Phil Strom, stated that an investigation had been initiated and that “a complete report from the police was awaited, and we were grateful to our enthusiastic people for finding the child”.
However, behind the unfortunate encounter of the girl there is an impressive story. Although she was left naked by her family in a ditch in the cold, the lucky God did not forget her and found an angel to protect her.
The “Angel” who saved her from danger was a dog, Peanut, who had also been abandoned by his master.
The peanut's master said that the girl was found the day that the peanut had been screaming in her house so madly, rushing down the stairs, barking abnormally, asking to go out, and finally letting the peanut out at temperatures near the ice. As soon as they left the house, the peanuts flew at full speed to the open ground behind their homes.
Since the peanut had never behaved so strangely, the master followed it with curiosity, to the ground where the peanut had stopped, and found the girl in the ditch, shivering all over her body.
The man immediately wrapped the girl in his sweatshirt, brought her into the house and asked her family to call the police and take proper care of the little girl. When the ambulance and the police arrived, the little girl spit out a word, “dog”.
The story is that it's not over yet, and peanuts may have a more difficult birth than this little girl.
Peanuts come from the Delta County Animal Shelter. Last April, when peanuts were brought to the shelter, the situation was very bad, with two broken legs, broken ribs and carpet crumbs in the digestive tract.
The former owner of the peanuts was convicted of animal abuse at a time when the personnel of the shelter did not give up the peanuts and took care of them and gradually recovered their health.
Soon after, peanuts found a new owner, who came to their new home. Perhaps with the same illness and super-human vigilance, peanuts miraclely saved the little girl. Peanuts are called heroes by the local population.
