Most recently, the big pets and the booster groups have been set on the back of the good news of the grand prune: Shenzhen has issued a comprehensive cat and dog fast!
On 31 March 2020, at the 40th meeting of the six-member Standing Committee of the Shenzhen General Assembly, the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone adopted the Regulations on the Comprehensive Prohibition of Food and Wildlife (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations), which became effective on 1 May 2020. The Ordinance specifies in white lists that pigs, cattle, sheep, donkeys, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, quail can eat, excluding cats and dogs!
Shenzhen became our first city of fasting cats and dogs!

Once it had been issued, it had been supported by a large number of people and even expressed the hope that it would be extended throughout the country.
But there are still a lot of people in the comment area who question, or even deny, the regulation, and the main thing they object to is why pigs and goats can eat and cats and dogs cannot eat. Why can't dogs from legal farms eat?
Indeed, the regulation issued in Shenzhen is mainly directed at fasting wild animals, of which thousands are fasting animals, cats and dogs.
Considering that the essence of the regulation is not just to protect wildlife, but to protect ourselves, many of the pathogens of unknown diseases, which originate in wildlife, most people agree to fast wildlife. Why is it that when it comes to cats and dogs that are most familiar to humans, people disagree?
I think cats and dogs are different from other animals, they're so emotional, they're stingy, angry, cute, they're like the family of a squawk officer.
Because almost no one eats cat, and what's more divisive is dog meat, let's just talk about whether dogs should be added to the regulations.
But in other people, dogs, like pigs, sheep, cattle, chickens, if dogs, like pigs, come from formal farms, come from legal sources, have strict quarantine measures, no one will object to you eating dog meat, but in fact, most of the dogs in the doghouse on the market are stolen by dogs.
Not long ago, a news report was made about a dog shoveling officer who went to a dog shop to look for lost dogs and found that dogs were being slaughtered in cages, with different varieties, some looking at the disease, and some with collars, most of which apparently had had their owners.

The idea is that these dogs may be the little ones in the hands of their masters, but now they're here and they're people's meals, and their owners are looking for it, and my heart is stinging.
So, is there a dog farm on the market? Yes, but very few and it is not possible to judge whether their sources are regular.
The following information was obtained from the most authoritative National Corporate Credit Information System, which has 45 such farms, 18 of which have been cancelled or cancelled, 11 of which are unusual, 2 of which have changed their operations and only 34 of which are in normal business.
How do you support the whole dog chain industry? A 2014 story gave us the answer: the dog from the dog shop, not from the meat farm, almost all of it!
Dog farming is in fact a very expensive industry, with no charges for electricity, water, grounds, labour. Dog seedlings, feed, injections are a big investment, raising the cost of raising dogs, but the price of dogs in the market is not too high.
Faced with cheap dog vendors and expensive dog farms, which would you say the doghouse would choose? In fact, many dog farms are also registered, and most of their dogs come from “purchases”.
Moreover, there is no clear quarantine standard for dog meat, and the Food Safety Office of the State Council has made it clear that we do not yet have the conditions to introduce quarantine rules for dog slaughter testing.

This means that all the dog meat you eat is unsanitary.
Now that the dog function has evolved from being a caregiver to a human companion, the dog has done a great job in all walks of life: search and rescue dogs, dogs, drug dogs, guide dogs... and dogs are growing higher in people's minds, fasting dog meat is a major trend, not only to reduce the rate of loss of pet dogs, but also to effectively avoid the spread of animal viruses.
