According to NHK, 73 and 53-year-old men and 39-year-old women, respectively, were suddenly attacked by a white Akita dog during a walk in the morning on the riverbank of Sueda City, Nagano county, on the outskirts of the river, causing injuries to their wrists and abdomen, fortunately without causing serious harm, and later, health-care personnel caught the Akita dog near the scene of the incident.
The police indicated that the bite dogs were kept in the feeder ' s company and were not held in custody, and then fled alone without attention, with details as to the cause and after which further investigation was pending.
