On 21 September, a pet producer @Shanghai Adoption Home tweets on Twitter that, in addition to dead pets, the site was inspected and that the dog blind box included 71 cats and 36 dogs.
Upon arrival, the civilian police, after a preliminary count, did not include dead animals, with 71 cats and 36 dogs. When the police contacted the sender, the other party renounced ownership.
With multiple relays, such as caring citizens, netizens, volunteers, Carabineros, pet doctors, etc., 36 dogs have been diverted, and healthy cats have been fully adopted, but the tragedy caused by the blind box for living pets has again been discussed.
On 22 September, in response to the widespread dissemination by social media of video of suspected traffic of cat and dog pets through Internet outlets, the Chinese Express responded that it had been verified that the video involved acts unrelated to the medium connection point, which had been alerted to the local public security authorities, and that the police had been provided with available information on the owner, carrier, etc.

A pet blind box is not a blind box, it is a blind movement without good capital.
The pet blind box is an alien to the blind box. Red is a product that has nothing to do with the sub-structure of the blind box, and the sealing of the pets in a closed box creates so-called “accidentality”, which is itself a form of contempt for life.

Some volunteers called these “blind boxes” from Chengdu and the surrounding area, traded through web platforms and delivered live pets to buyers by courier at prices ranging from several to hundreds.
A week later, on 11 May, at 1300 hours, some 30 black plastic boxes containing live cats and dogs were found in the factory area of Suzhou Central Express Ltd., which, as can be seen from the delivery unit, had been locked in the box for six days.
It's not hard to understand the reason for the frequent tragedy of the blind box: there are no conditions to protect small animals.
After all, there are no live delivery conditions for the blind boxes, from packaging to transport.
In an extremely bad transport environment for animals, it is unlikely that no tragedy will occur.
At the same time, the blind box's “blind” properties, together with the resulting closed effects, have further aggravated the already poor packaging space by increasing access to and encounters.
In addition, the high incidence of this tragedy is further exacerbated by the cost-saving placement of blind pet box operators and couriers on the market by means of non-living transport.
In fact, pet transport is already regulated.
On 19 March 2020, the National Postal Service issued a circular to the entire industry to regulate the transport of live animals, to fully implement the regime prohibiting and restricting their delivery, to strictly regulate the transport of live animals other than protected wild animals, to strictly prohibit the transport of dangerous living animals such as toxic, offensive and harmful public health, and to ensure the safety of the delivery channels, public health safety and the safety of the lives of the population.
Specialized transport services are currently available by air, rail and road for living animals that meet the requirements. For live animals that can be delivered, the enterprise should require the sender to be safely and properly packaged. In the transport, sorting and delivery chain, effective physical isolation is to be provided for the mail delivery of live animals, while ensuring the safety of live animal mail delivery itself, avoiding contamination and damage to other mail delivery.
However, in an attempt to save costs or to seek violence, merchants have gone unheeded, and some couriers have become “accompanied”.
For express delivery companies, there is a lack of “checking” of transport items, as well as deliberate or unintentional neglect at the pick-up offices.
In fact, because of excessive delivery and a smaller proportion of the blind boxes for pets, it is difficult to achieve effective containment through spot checks alone.
Multilateral reporting mechanisms could therefore be established, and the most effective way of regulating the transport of live goods without the necessary qualifications or without a delivery of live goods in accordance with the standards for the transport of goods, i.e., strict inspection and heavy penalties in accordance with the relevant provisions.
But it's more important and more difficult than the whole society to resist, to blindly sell and buy pets. The box is seen as an ugly deal to make this business a big deal.
