A three-week-old cat, Harpo, was found in a house yard one day, allegedly abandoned by her mother because she was unable to walk. Harpo was eventually sent to a local cat rescue centre, “Alaska'sKAAATs”, for the care of volunteer workers, who were unable to walk on their backs or eat on their own.
The vet examined Harpo and found that his post-legged wounds had already healed themselves and that the injuries had been sustained a long time ago.
As the golden treatment period has been missed, Harpo's back leg is certain to be irrecoverable and unfortunately becomes a post-paraplegic cat.
The founder of Alaska's KAAATs, Shannon, decided to take Harpo home for care. Although she had three dogs, they were very friendly to cats, especially Cindy.
When Harpo was brought before Sindh, he did not hesitate to include Little Harpo in his own protection net.
Sindh had lived in the woods for several years and had a couple of pups, so she had a very strong instinct and was very good at caring for her children.

Now Harpo is six months old, and Sindh looks at him like a child.
Harpo was abandoned by the mother of the cat, but fortunately he was accompanied by the mother of the dog, Sindh, who grew up happily; Under the guard of Sindh, he can now run in a wheelchair, with the same mobility as a generally healthy cat!
