On 28 January, the subway reported that Lieutenant Matt Gard of the United States Lafayette Police Department had revealed in an interview with WTHR that a bulldog had attacked and killed a 26-day-old boy.
The child's name is Julian Cornell. He had an accident in his bedroom in Lafayette, Indiana. The autopsy revealed that he died from multiple sharp bites on the head and neck.
According to the police, the bulldog was fighting with a little hound in the house, and the brother of the victim saw the dogs and separated them.
But this did not stop bulldog violence. Instead, it turns the angry dog's attention to babies in the bedroom.
When the victim's brother returned to his bedroom, he found bulldogs against his brother-- The young child, who was not yet a full moon, was not able to resist, and then called the police.
When the first officer, Neil Kane, arrived at the scene in Rafah, he found the dog still standing next to the injured baby. To protect the victim, he shot and killed the dog.
He then gave first aid to Julian and urgently took him to a nearby hospital.
However, Julian was declared dead shortly after being fatally wounded, both in the head and in the neck.
The dogs attacked by bulldogs were also injured and taken to a nearby animal hospital for treatment.
It is not known whether the wounded bulldog is male or female and whether it has been castrated or vaccinated.
However, according to Lieutenant Matt Gard, there had never been a complaint against the dog before.
Julien's mother Jennifer heard of the child's death and was sore.
Helen Tracy, a neighbour, was shocked when she heard the tragedy, and she said, “The police car is everywhere. I thought, "What's wrong?"
When her fiancé came home, they gathered with other neighbours to talk about the matter and thought it was too heartbreaking.
The police are currently investigating the attack around it.
