The distributive deficit in the small pet market has a century and a 200-year-old history of pet clinics as an industry-wide chain in the bourgeois class of the country, creating industrial chains for breeding, training, supplies, treatment, medicine and trade, and creating part of socio-economic development. However, the marketing of pet clinics in China is still developing at an early stage and is not well in all sectors. “Many small pet clinics that lack business qualifications are profitable because of their low cost. However, large, small and medium-sized pet clinics, which are large investment projects, cannot recover costs because of their high cost.” In recent years, many regulations have been introduced in our country to deal with wholesale disruptions in small pet markets. In addition, professionals have called on government agencies and relevant staff to pay more attention to the pet clinic industry and to offer many preferential policies. For example, total free sterilization of small pets is encouraged to reduce the number of stray cats and dogs, and timely and free vaccination of small pets makes them less and less contagious. There is also a need for companies to improve their management programmes and controls of pet clinic institutions and to get enterprises with incomplete certification of pet clinics out of the pet clinic market.
