On Thursday, November 25th, China's mini-comb, Ma, the French bulldog Winston was awarded the Best Performing Award at the National Dog Fair in 2022.

UPI reports that “I'm excited every time, and so is Winston”, and Winston's broker, Perry Peyson, said after he announced his victory.
“The National Dog Fair in Philadelphia was broadcast on television on Thanksgiving, which is clearly special. We have a lot of support, and that's what happens to dogs of this quality."
John O'Hurley and David Frei again hosted the Philly Dog Club, which was broadcast at NBC and broadcast live on Peacock, NBCSports.com and NBC Services.
The annual National Dog Fair was held for the first time in 1879 as the Philly Dog Show Club.
Because of the Great Depression, the competition was cancelled only in 1928 and 1932.
NBC started broadcasting the event in 2002 and renamed it the National Dog Fair.
Claire, the Scottish Deerhouette, won the Best Performing Awards in 2021 and 2020, marking the first time in the history of the match that the same dog had won that honor for two years in a row.
