At 2 a.m. on 18 July, 38-year-old Yao Hoi was declared dead after being bitten by a pet dog. This was followed by the general killing of vagrants and unimmunized dogs and cats. Recently, dog bites have been frequent, and while we care about and sympathize with the wounded, I think it must be painful for the dog lovers, because they don't want to make the impressions of Wang Star's people, let alone to see the dog hit. So in life, whether dog-lovers or other small partners, some pet bites must have a general knowledge of how to get together and keep as close as possible to dangerous distance.
When you get bitten by a pet, the question of whether or not you're going to be vaccinated is a constant one. When do you have to do it?
In general, experts would say so, depending on whether or not you were shot.
First of all, see what happens to the animal that bits you, and in cases where an unidentified unlicensed dog or a quasi-inoculation dog has not been “immunized” for more than six months, both mad dogs or animals suspected of rabies require rabies vaccination. In some cases, although not bitten, they have been caught or amputated with mucous membranes and required vaccination. If the head, neck, upper limbs, the back of the chest, etc., are to be bitten, the blood serum against rabies must be injected simultaneously.
It then depends on the correct injection and how long. The rabies vaccine is administered in the upper arm delta, with five doses required for the entire journey, i.e. one each on the day of the bite, day 3, day 7, day 14 and day 30. In the case of the simultaneous use of anti-rabies serum, one dose is required on day 45 and one on day 60. More than one year after the last injection, the injection shall be re-injected in accordance with the above procedure. In addition, the wound should be properly treated after the bite. 3 to 5 per cent of soap can be used to adequately wash the wound, wash it with fresh water, wash the wound for at least 20 minutes, and do not wrap and stitch it.
Look at this conclusion, you know a little bit more about pet bites, but there's one thing you can't ignore: you have to pay more attention to diet breaks during vaccination.
After rabies, you should be careful to rest, avoiding tired activities or intense sports, and to refrain from more stimulating drinks or food such as wine, tea, etc. Medicines such as hormones, cyclophos-amides and chloroquine have the potential to reduce the prophylactic effect of rabies vaccines, so that simultaneous use should be avoided as much as possible.
Dogs, as the most loyal friends of humanity, are worthy of our care, so we should be careful in life to avoid acts that provoke dogs or flatter less familiar dogs who sometimes have a human face, but who sometimes have difficulty controlling themselves, so take responsibility for themselves and be careful. In the case of stray cats and dogs, I think the authorities should take reasonable measures to protect the safety of the good people; at the same time, to minimize the harm to them as far as they can, and to respect every life.
