Recently, a 2-year-old girl in Sichuan was torn for up to 40 seconds by an untied large Rovina dog, which is of great concern. It is worth noting that, under the Sioux City Dogs Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation), which came into force on 1 October 2022, the large Rovina dog in the video is a prohibited dog breed in Suzhou.
The Ordinance further extends to all individuals in the administrative area of the city, on the basis of the prohibition of dogs and dogs by individuals within the priority regulatory area established by the previous regulations, to prohibit the raising of dogs and dogs.
The City of Suzhou prohibits individuals from raising large dogs with shoulder heights of more than 61 cm, as well as German shepherds, Akitas, Dubins, Rowenas, and other five types of dogs of a strong nature and hybrid dogs of a related variety. The dogs, which are prohibited from raising, cannot obtain a canine certificate.
In particular, the Regulations emphasize that if the dog is three months old or the interval between immunizations has expired, the dog keeper shall obtain an animal rabies vaccine for dogs and an animal rabies immunization certificate issued by the animal veterinary department, in accordance with the relevant national regulations. The dog-bearer shall apply to the public security organs for the registration of the dog after the dog has been immunized and shall obtain a registration certificate for the dog, in accordance with the provisions of this regulation. No unit or individual is allowed to raise large groups of dogs older than four months without being registered.
On the Sioux State Government Service Micro-Credit Public, a service dedicated to the application for a canine registration permit can be arranged by the public by means of an online one-click appointment. The owner of the pet is required to fill out basic information such as the name of the dog, the type of dog, the age of the dog, the purpose of the application, the manner of adoption, and to upload a photograph of the dog and an immunization photograph of the dog as required. All canine certificates are free.
