Two tough Staffordshire Terraiers in the Blue Mountain area dug holes into a coffee shop yard fence, opened up and killed, biting and injuring seven poultry and pets in the compound.
According to AusAID, the owner of the 2773 coffee shop in Glenbrook was informed of this tragic news, and four chickens and one sheep in the backyard were bitten and two pigs were seriously injured.
The neighbours of the coffee shop, who woke up in commotion, ran out of their homes and prevented them from attacking the pig ' s home.
Dave Clarke, the coffee shop manager, said he woke up at midnight. “They are seriously injured, and they are now recovering, lying in circles, unable to move,” he said to the ABS journalist.
The owners of the dogs have been contacted and the animals have been locked up for follow-up action by local municipalities.
The nose and legs of two pigs were bitten and treated by veterinary doctors.
