On the way back from the national holiday holiday, Guangdong's “discarded high-speed service” puppy finally waited for its owner. On 1 October, a puppy was waiting in front of the women's bathroom in the Qingdong High Post Area of the Hong Kong/Australia Highway “waiting for the owner to look inside”. A number of netizens passing through the high-level service area took pictures of the dog and issued invitations to look for the owner. This puppy gets a lot of internet attention.
On 3 October, Captain Chu Jia Rong of the High-speed High-Range Service District of Tokyo told Red Star News that on the night of 1 October, the team temporarily kept the puppy in the security room and, as the dog “don't eat or drink”, handed it over to a dog worker at a gas station the following day.
On the afternoon of 8 October, on the last day of the holiday, Red Star News received news that the owner of the dog had arrived at the top of the Hong Kong Highway and had taken the dog and finally “reunified”. Ms. Liu, the dog owner, then told Red Star News about the entire process from the loss of the dog to the recovery of the dog.
Master dog: I didn't mean to abandon the dog.
Ms. Liu worked and lived in Shenzhen. In the early morning of 1 October, the family drove home to Guangxi Ho County for the festival, on a high-speed basis at around 8 p.m. and arrived at the senior service area at 3 p.m. That's when the dog was lost.
Ms. Liu told Red Star News that Shenzhen did not need to pass through the high-duty service area in Shenzhen, but that her husband had chosen that route at the time when the highway was too crowded.
Ms. Liu ' s husband got off the bus and refuelled in the high-level service area. “We didn't go to the bathroom. My husband went to the convenience store and bought some food and paid for it. My son and I didn't get out of the car, the son slept in the back, the dog was in the trunk, and I didn't know how the dog got out." Ms. Liu told Red Star News that more than 10 minutes after the launch of the high-level service area, they could not hear the dog ' s voice before they found it out of the car.
At that time, netizens commented that “the probability was that the owner had deliberately abandoned it, and that those who had a heart would have come back for it”. Also, according to netizens, “every year on long vacation and spring festival, the service area loses a lot of dogs”.
Ms. Liu told Red Star News that the family had not deliberately abandoned the dog. “There was a severe traffic jam around the road that day, the next service area was far away, and we were stuck in the next service area for over an hour.” As a result, they did not have the conditions to drive back to the dog.
When the master returned, he was looking for it for dozens of miles.
Ms. Liu told Red Star News that they had raised the puppy since the end of last year and that the puppy was now 10 months old and its name was “Big bun”.
Ms. Liu's son is five years old and is still in kindergarten, and the “bitch” is a close companion of her son. When couples are busy at work, and they don't have time to look after their children, the son says, "You leave the buns at home and don't take them out." Ms. Liu said that the “bubbies” were very human and that couples would wake up with an alarm clock in the morning and sometimes the clock would not ring, and the “bubbies” would scream and wake them up on time.
Ms. Liu told Red Star News that the family was in a hurry and the son was sad when she found out that the “basket” was missing on the afternoon of 1 October. "There's so many cars on the road, we're worried about it." Ms. Liu stayed up the night of her first day back in Hozhou because of her deep feelings for the little bun. The next day, she started talking to her family, and she missed the little bun, hoping that someone good would take it.
Although from 1 to 3 October, after postings by netizens and media reports, Little Bob became a “renowned dog”, Ms. Liu told Red Star News that they had not painted posts, videos and news about Little Bob, and therefore had no idea that Little Bob had been adopted by senior service area coordinators and fuel station women.
On 8 October, Ms. Liu ' s family returned to Shenzhen, deliberately bypassing 70 and 80 kilometres, and returned to the high-level service area to look for “small buns”, from which the team learned that the dog had been adopted.
The Chief of the High-Range High-Range High-Range Service District Coordination, Chu Jia Rong, told Red Star News that she had an appointment with her colleague from the gas station and was temporarily supported by the female employee. Ms. Liu told Red Star News that the little buns were in good shape, but it seemed afraid of losing their master again, “We walked away and it ran back to the car and lay still in its seat.”
On the evening of 8 October, Ms. Liu's family drove back to Shenzhen, where the “bubby” lay quietly in her son's arms. Ms. Liu said that “thank you for having caused them trouble in the high-level service area. Thanks also to the team, the gas station lovers, and a wide range of Internet friends who helped us protect and keep the buns."
