"It's the economy."

On 21 September, the four-day 13th TOPS Chengdu condolence was successfully inaugurated, attracting more than 110,000 viewers, with a 22 per cent increase in professional audiences and a 36 per cent increase in consumers over the same period, creating a surge of love and affection.

During the same period, the 2025 “It” economic New Era pet economic forum (hereinafter “the Forum”) was also held in Chengdu. The forum focused on the theme “Designing new energy for consumption, reshaping the evolution of brands, exploring in depth new opportunities and models for high-quality development of the pet economy, and helping industries to make a strategic leap from expansion to value upgrading.

According to the 2025 White Paper on the Chinese pet industry, in 2024 the number of pet cats and dogs in China exceeded 124 million, the size of the urban cat-consumption market reached $30.2 billion, and “after 90” and “after 00” were the pet-raising forces, representing more than 60 per cent. Most pets are regarded as family, friends and gain emotional value from them.

At the same time, the concept of pet consumption has moved from “paternity” to “paternity”, and the new path of consumption of services such as pet eating, emotional satisfaction, personal experience and health care has led to a more specialized, sophisticated and diversified industry.

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Sichuan Division of Petty Associations stated at the Forum that its “economic” was becoming an unstoppable force of new energy to activate its consumption potential and, more importantly, a central force in rebranding the industry.

Specifically in the area of pet food, the Managing Director of the World's 500 Corporate Powered Group, “Good Masters of Care”, has stated that security is an unshakeable bottom line in the face of demand for pet food, that nutrition is the basis for growth and that health is at the core of all. "Good Master of Care", focusing on the Z generation elites, proposed the concept of "balanced nutrition without burden" in order to serve families in the service of grainless, insensitive, high digestive products.

Faced with the current tension of “high demand, low trust” in the industry, Wang Qi, Vice-President and Secretary-General of the Guangdong Conservation Industry Association, recommended that all sectors of society establish professional and professional teams to serve consumers with sufficient strength.

The Forum was officially launched by the Association of the Petty Industries of the two provinces of Kawakawa, Chengdu Good Masters of the Petty Food Company Ltd. and media representatives, the “Patting for the Consumption Alliance 2025”. The Alliance is committed to upholding the ethical bottom line of animal welfare, improving product quality and service standards, safeguarding legitimate consumer rights and interests, and promoting industrial innovation and sustainable development.
