On 22 September, a joint operation of the Taiwon City Planning and Natural Resources Department, the Almonds Ridge Forest Grass Centre and the Taiwon Zoo resulted in the release of 13 wild birds, such as red-sniffed chorus, red-sniffed mountain crows, paintings, white-cap crows and others.
It is known that the release process was critically evaluated and that the released wild birds were in good condition and viable in the field. The place of return has also been strictly screened as a woodland suitable for birds to feed and shelter, where they will fly freely and continue to guard the green home.
Since this year's operation to combat illegal bird hunting and trafficking in Taiwon, the Taiwon Zoo, as a wildlife rescue centre in Shanxi province, has received 32 and 142 species of birds, and, as wild birds are not suitable for long-term artificial breeding, has decided to free them from suitable sites.
Wild birds, as an important part of the ecological environment, have been accorded high priority by all sectors of society. In recent years, as the number of birds has increased, crime against birds has also increased.
