The ideal fine blue iguana should be about 43 centimetres long, mostly light ash close to brown, with a short and fat body, which looks very small compared to other lizards.

It has more than nine narrow stripes with orange tea on it. The front of the head is about the same size as the other heads. There are also rough black stripes on the rear of the eye, with two to four rows of large multi-angle slabs between the top and the neck. The sizes are 38-46 columns, the limbs are small, the rear limbs are only 20-25 per cent of the length of the torso and the tail is 40-55 per cent of the length of the torso.
