A woman claims that her pet dog died in a dryer

On 10 September, a friend of the Internet sent his own golden pet dog to a pet shop in Wuhan to take a bath and be forgotten by the shopkeeper for nearly two hours in a dryer box, resulting in the death of the dog in a summer break. In response, on 12 September, the shop responded that the dryer could only dry for up to one hour and that the dog might have died because of being too old and obese and had now been agreed with the dog owner.

The dog was found and rescued.

According to the poster, on 9 September, at around 4 p.m., the dog was taken to the beautiful living house in the Hongshan Hills of Wuhan City, where he bathed, but at 7 p.m. he received a telephone call from the pet shop staff stating that the dog was in trouble and that “we were in a coma and called a doctor for first aid at the scene, and was never rescued”.

According to the netizens, he learned afterwards that the owner was not in the shop at the time of the incident and that only one staff member remained. The netizens told the news that the dog was put in a dryer at 5 p.m. and found at 7 p.m.

Ms. Chen indicated that since 2016 she has had no health problems other than mild skin disease and obesity (approximately 90 pounds). She questioned the management of the pet shop.

According to her, there was only one shopkeeper in the shop at the time of the incident, and the owner subsequently exonerated himself on the grounds that the shopkeeper was “suspicious of Down Syndrome and mentally responsible”. To date, the owner has only paid $2080 for emergency medical treatment for the same night through a letter transfer, without offering to apologize or negotiate compensation.

The Officer-in-Charge said that agreement had been reached with the pet owner.
