“Happy birthday!” led by Russian staff at the Moscow Zoo, tourists gave their birthdays in Chinese to the Russian panda “Dinding” and “Do As You Will”. On 30 and 31 July, the Moscow Zoo celebrated the birthdays of the big panda “Dinding” and “Do what you want” respectively, while opening a rich and diverse Zoo “Panda Week”.
On 30 July, a wonderful dance dragon performance began at the entrance to the Moscow Zoo, leading tourists to the panda house. Some of the tourists wear panda hairs, others wear panda T-shirts and their faces are full of joy.
The celebratory sites of "Ding Ding" and "whatever" are, the cake made of ice, bamboo and fruit are already "plainized" and the top of the cake is shaped by bamboo into a number of 8 and 9 respectively, representing their age. The director of the Moscow Zoo, Svetlana Akulova, told the journalists: “For them, not only are toys, but they also develop their skills, such as playing in nature, with the ability to find, bite and tear. I'm sure they'll be happy."
At the Moscow Zoo, the staff will do everything in their power to “rich” the large panda coop and to add “fresh” by adding food to the adornable or harmless decorations or by hiding food in new toys.
In addition to the cake, the birthday stars received special birthday gifts. “Dindeen” received a paper robot with a blue and grey picture of snacks, while “if desired” received a sailboat decorated by bamboo drums and branches. The young friends at the zoo, who organized the 31st day, made a carrot-looking pillow for “what-you-know” with snacks such as fruit and bamboo.
Russian tourists are crowded outside the glass walls of the holiday site. The tourists looked at the two large pandas in a ludicrous gesture, and from time to time bursting up and laughing, and raised their cameras or mobile phones to record the lovely moments of the two birthday stars.
“Dinding” and “Beyonding” are from the Sichuan Ceion Tree Base and the Sichuan Ya'an Peak Isthmus Base respectively. In April 2019, they arrived in Moscow and began a 15-year residential life. In August 2023, their daughter Katyusha was born.
Akulova, at the scene of the “Dindin” birthday celebration, said: “It is an amazing mother, and “Dindin” has taught `Katyusha' all the skills of survival, as if they were living in nature. "Katyusha's character is warm, his nature is moving, he's full of boys, making all Russians love big pandas!"
According to Akulova, under the scientific protection and research programme for large pandas signed with China, a working group composed of staff from both sides, including veterinarians, would maintain regular exchanges. “The Chinese colleagues are ready to advise and advise us on panda breeding.”
According to the gardeners, during the “Dinding” and “Windly” birthday celebrations, the zoo also arranged, inter alia, a rich programme from 28 July to 3 August, including exchanges with breeders, a “master's course” on panda foods, a panda Cope lecture, etc., with a view to increasing the visibility of pandas.
