A monkey on the streets of Guiyang uses electric wires at high altitude, local: normal

On 23 March, a monkey on the streets of Guiyang walked the wire at high altitude, a scene filmed by his netizens and accompanied by a text “The Monkey is cumbered”, which quickly aroused heat, with millions of videos and 40,000 comments. A lot of the people on the Internet were wondering, "Old Iron, I've come to you along the line."

On 24 September, video photographers told the press that he had witnessed the scene at about 3 p.m. in San Ming, South Ming, Guiyang City, where he had speculated that the monkey might have snuck out of the Park and had finally seen the monkey go down the wire without knowing where.

In response, Ultimate Reporters called Violin Hill Park, where staff stated that the monkeys were wild monkeys and had the ability to move freely, “it was able to climb over the hill, not be held in captivity”. The staff member also stated that monkeys were found in several parks in Guiyang city, and that the monkey did not necessarily come from the Jinnshan Park. This statement was also confirmed by the staff of the San Francisco Zoo and recommended that the Guiyang City Wildlife Management Station be consulted.

The staff of the Guiyang Wildlife Management Station responded that it was normal for wild monkeys to do this. They also remind citizens that when they encounter monkeys, do not provoke or feed them, and be careful of their safety. “We usually get phone calls when we meet monkeys, we contact staff to look at them and fear harm.”

According to Guizhou Forest Wildlife Park staff, they had monkeys in their possession and did not run out.

In the video comment area, many local netizens in Guiyang say that they are “suspicious” to share their personal experiences: “They are taken by monkeys at school and eaten at school”, “they go to school dormitories” and so on.
