"What kind of dog is this? I've hired a 24-hour bodyguard!" Chen Xiaog, a white-collared kid from Beijing, picked up his family, Teddy, and the dog immediately drilled her head into her arms. The white paper on the pet industry revealed alarming data: nearly 60 per cent of households in the north have chosen small dogs, with the economics of isolation that urban people find difficult to speak of.
