Over 490 kittens were rescued! We've been relocated to multiple pet hospitals

In the early morning hours of 4 July, more than 490 kittens intercepted from suspicious vehicles were being diverted from the Shilling East Road Animal Hospital in the mountain-watching lake area of Guiyang City. Volunteers, interested citizens and the staff of more than 10 pet hospitals from Guiyang City are working together to conduct a preliminary examination of the kittens and to sort the cages. Currently, all rescued cats have been relocated to the pet hospitals for appropriate placement, pending further medical examination, treatment of injured cats, and adoption will be opened once the file numbers are consolidated.

“The cats were contacted by Sichuan's anti-abuse animal volunteers and intercepted with the help of the authorities.” On the afternoon of 3 July, a minivan from Sichuan to Guangxi was carrying hundreds of cats through Guizhou, with comments from a number of netizens indicating that the cat on board was suspected of being lost, and that the volunteer against the abuse of animals was able to transmit the power of love and rescue the little cat who had taken the car at General Guiyang's pick-up station, with more than 490 cats in over a dozen cages counted on the scene.

“It is terrible that, if it is not rescued, the kittens may be transported to slaughterhouses or other illegal transactions.” Volunteers have revealed to journalists that, according to current accounts from Sichuan netizens, the kittens are suspected of having been stolen, and that there are already online friends who have contacted Juyang volunteers to look for their lost kittens.

"No adoption today." At around 2300 hours on 3 July, at the temporary place of residence at the Yabi Animal Hospital, the volunteers explained to the concerned citizens from time to time that “these cats now need to be examined further, and some of the injured and sick still need to be treated, before they can be adopted when the treatment is completed”.

Journalists learned that after the rescue of more than 490 kittens, volunteers found that their health was not encouraging. In temporary settlements, a preliminary check-up is carried out on each kitten and is classified according to the state of health. "The sick ones are upstairs, the injured ones are here, and the pregnant ones are laid light."

“There are a lot of eager citizens who have brought cat food, cat sand, etc., and the love pet hospital is also contacting cars for trans-shipment.” Journalists saw on the scene that there were occasional zealous citizens who brought pets and then joined the transit rescue team, and those who were unable to reach the site and delivered them to the site by handouts.

Various kinds of donations from interested citizens, such as cat foods, cat sands, medical care mats, pet airline boxes, cages, etc., piled up in small mountains outside the Yabi Animal Hospital, volunteers distributed donated pet supplies to various settlements, depending on the number of small cats that were diverted from the pet hospital.

"We have another 10 sick people." Following the transfer of dozens of kittens, the staff of the Paternity Hospital took the initiative to identify volunteers.

"Come on, 10 boys, move upstairs." One shout, you're going to the second floor of the temporary settlement to move the cat.

"Don't be afraid. Let's go to the hospital." Volunteers take the cage down the second floor while consoling the shocked cat in the cage.

Volunteers at the scene told journalists that only some of the 490 saved cats were treated at the temporary shelter, the Yabbi Animal Hospital, while the remainder were housed at 10 or more pet hospitals, such as the University of Guizhou Animal Hospital, the Keats Hospital, the Pets Hospital and the Patmore Hospital.

“There are South Ming Districts, clouds, mountains and lakes, and there are hospitals in Flower Creeks, all of which come to do this on a free voluntary basis.”

On 4 July, at 2 a.m., after one night ' s effort, more than 490 kittens have been fully transported and properly housed. The adoption will be opened after the volunteer has introduced and the cat has been provided with all medical care and documentation. At the same time, the lost cat was asked to contact volunteers as soon as possible.
