In recent days, the Institute of Livestock, Livestock and Veterinary Medicine of the Hunan Agricultural Institute, Jiang, conducted technical services for a team of people travelling to Sakayang City to visit An Integrated Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co. Ltd. to exchange and provide guidance on the management of sheep breeding in the autumn of Montenegro, on the scientific formulation of feed, and on the technology of the critical chain of clean farming using a sheep-saving abatement.

Eastern Montenegro sheep are important local goat varieties in the south of the country and are favoured by consumers because of their fine flesh, taste and nutritional value. In 2004, the species was added to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ' s list of conservation resources, and in 2018 it was registered as a product of geographical indications and in 2024 as a trademark.

In recent years, in response to the challenges of degradation, slow growth and poor systems of sheep breeds in eastern Montenegro, the Institute of Livestock and Veterinary Research of the Hunan Agricultural Institute conducted a study on the conservation and exploitation of sheep stock in eastern Montenegro for a team of researchers, developed more than 10 local standard techniques, such as the technical protocol on sheep breeding in eastern Montenegro, and developed patent results, such as a multilayer livestock farm. Team innovation has created the “3+1+1” model of scientific and technical services, whereby provincial scientific research units lead the development and demonstration of new technologies, county-level livestock departments follow industry guidance, rural agricultural services provide basic security, and science and technology agents and leading firms work together to achieve an efficient transformation of scientific and technological results.

Under the guidance of a team of experts, the demonstration base successfully applied high-frequency high-speed technology, early weaning technology and modern graft-based green farming technology to reduce the spacing of sheep and sheep For 28-30 days, the fertility rate increased by 20 per cent, the rate of weaning of lambs increased by 15.5 per cent, and the weight of fat sheep out of the bar increased by an average of 3.6 kg, with an increase of more than 200 per sheep. In addition, the demonstration of modern 2-6-storey sheep farming techniques has not only saved land, but has also resulted in the centralized collection and resourceization of goat dung and the development of environmentally friendly farming models. These results have led to more than 400 farmers joining the Montenegrin sheep farm, providing new avenues for local farmers to grow wealth.

The advanced technology and remarkable results of the demonstration base have attracted international attention, with missions from Madagascar and Samoa visiting, learning and exchanging, promoting “out of country” sheep farming techniques in eastern Montenegro.

In addition, it has produced books such as the Hubnan Standardized Research on Herbivorous Animals, Technical Questions and Answers on the Healthy Farming of Bulls, and does not regularly organize thematic training and live webcasts of experts to contribute to the conservation and development of local goat resources and sustainable quality development of industry.
