See how "Sweetie" brings fire to the pet economy

See how

On August 4th, there was an interesting scene at the floating site of the Dragon Mountain Canyon in Ange County: More than 10 tourists came along with their pets and felt the coolness of the mountains. As the number of tourists carrying pets continues to increase, since the beginning of the summer, the Landscape has been set up for the purpose of carrying tourists with them, who can play with their owners on the paddleboards, lie on water floats, etc. Some 60 visitors with pets each week are currently being received, and “show with them” has even led to a friendly transition from the surrounding population to pets.

The development of the “petty economy” has been driven by a new consumption concept. According to China's White Paper on the Petty Industry (Consumer Report) 2025, in 2024 the number of domestic pets in our cities and towns exceeded 120 million, and the size of the consumer market grew by 7.5 per cent, to $30.2 billion. In Lake County, as the adaptation of environmental spaces such as restaurants, hotels, landscapes and so on, pet friendly places are providing more consumption options for pet providers, including in the area of “food and clothing”.

In response to new opportunities, how does the Lake State “petty economy” take advantage of opportunities? Over the past few days, journalists have visited the districts to find out what happened.

The sign “No pets to enter the mall” was removed and replaced by a pet-friendly “love” label, and even a “dog stop” was erected at the door. Careful urban residents found that walking in the heart of Lake County, the “petty economy” was becoming more and more closely linked to such industries as catering, writing, etc., and that a number of businesses had changed their previous restrictions on pets, and more and more businesses were opening their doors.

Alpine Street Al Qaeda has organized a “let's dogs, a fair” party to attract customers and promote consumption through facilities, thematic marketing and community operations. “We insist on balancing the rights of pets and other customers, such as in-market dogs, which have access standards below 45 centimetres, and many pets are willing to bring pets here.” A staff member at the mall told journalists that pet friendship was evolving into a new course to boost consumption.

In addition to the malls, new business practices such as the Cat Café and Café of the Cat are increasingly becoming popular consumption scenes for young people. At the entrance of a Western restaurant on the street of Dragon Springs, there was a remarkable sign with a “Convention of Compassion and Friendship”, which specified the care to bring pets into the store.

“Our restaurant was transformed two years ago into a half-house pet-friendly restaurant, and it also provided pets with special sets to avoid the use of table dishes for pets.” According to the restaurant staff, many pets use the restaurant as a social setting for underline pets and set up social platforms such as the Little Red Book.

In the countryside, pet friendly heat is also rising. Last year, the South Mountain Village of East Lin, Wu Xing District, hosted the Long Triangle Tourists, who came from Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou to fight hard with dogs such as Koji, Teddy and China, and nearly 100 of them completed a 6-kilometre mountain-direction cruise, which also provided the opportunity to launch wildfire rice, bamboo chickens and eastern forest treasure hunts.

In the town of gold in the southern region, young start-ups are looking at pet food, and the McNugget food project, which produces 30,000 tons of dried pet food and 1,500 tons of frozen dried pet food each year, is nearing completion and will provide quality food for pets in the long triangle.

However, there are also some people who believe that the creation of a friendly environment for pets can lead to problems such as leashing and defecation. In response, Lake County has maintained its focus on civilist advocacy. Angé County ' s Brondor-Friendly Town was the first county-wide initiative to create a “Pet-Friendly Township”, where last year an attempt was made to include “civilization-friendly” in the village contract and to gradually add facilities such as outdoor pet drinking water units, one-time bag pick-up and bite-proof hoods to the various administrative villages, in an effort to present a more inclusive and open image of civilization.

“Pups and non-pups are not a non-black or white option, and some are born afraid of small animals, but this does not prevent them from having full love.” Chen Zhu Xin, director of the PBJ café in the town of Honolulu, explained that he had invited lovers from all walks of life, business representatives, etc., to share stories of civilized pet-making and to create a more scientific “peter-friendly” environment.

It's easier to travel.

In the high iron station, the furry puppet cat stares at his eyes and wonders about the flow of human beings through the cat kit; by the balcony of the hotel, one person sits silently and stands up to watch the evening twilight spills its gold far away... Over the past two years, the joy of looking at the world with a “sweet child” has been spreading to Lake County among the growing number of petists.

One of the first homeowners in the country to have a pet friendly place is the Concubine Home, located in the resort of Mount Wu Xingxisai. Four years ago, the hostess, Zhao Li-min, learned about the business opportunities of rural tourism and resigned from his position as director of the travel agency to Myayama village to convert the former marital home into a residential home.

“The noises that tourists like are my pandas, oranges are my stray cats, and now they're guests, the best tourist in their minds.” According to Zhao Li-min, cat-and-dog company, sitting in the courtyard, a feature of the homeowner ' s fight, during three years of business, visitors often bring their pets to experience, almost every weekend, with a one-month advance booking of holidays.

Good water brings in traffic, while warm services turn traffic into “retention”. Today, Zhao Li-min also uses her camera to set a happy moment for tourists to interact with their pets, and on her social account she has become the second “home” for tourists in Lake County. Under her leadership, more than 10 residential homes in Mount Cicé tourist resort have been labelled as pet friendly.

The map of Lake County ' s global tourism is open to pet-friendly and relevant attractions, attractions and camps. According to the City's Cultural and Teletourism Department, the city-wide scene of “residence” and “travel” has been escalating over the years, especially in terms of the dimensions of “residence”, the meaning of pet-friendly has gone beyond simple “accessibility”, and many hotels and residential houses have introduced a rich “go-to-peer” model, with a large variety of packages such as airline boxes, toys, clean-up suits, companionship gifts, welcome cards, etc., for pets, and even with the “Small Star” menu.

There are signs of this trend. According to data from a tourist reservation client, the city-wide number of residential reservations with the label “with pets” increased by more than 70 per cent over the same year, and the number of “with pets” increased five times over the same year. The booms in popular residences and travels have forced many of the literature to actively promote “distortive” transformations.

“We have nine rooms and have received up to 25 pups on a tour, with more than more pets than tourists.” Peng Ying explained that three of his dogs are now the “star housekeeper” for tourists.

The Mogang Mount Wonsenpur Resort Hotel, located not far from the woodhouse, is larger in terms of pet adaptation, with more than 200 houses in the pet theme. The staff also developed the theme “Foot-Foot-Foot Designer” and “Foot-breeders” for visitors, tailoring breakfast and fresh tea for different types of pets, such as cats and dogs, and promoting professional animal rescue and animal conservation. According to the Mogan Shan People ' s Association, more than 800 residential homes in the Mogan Mountains are now more than half of which have become pet friendly.

The “petty economy” offers new opportunities, but challenges remain everywhere, among them safety and health issues. For example, the lack of supervision of pets by some pets, the vulnerability of pets to alarm, and the fact that some people are naturally afraid of cats and dogs, or are allergic to pet hairs, are prone to contradictions. In addition, pet excreta can easily affect the environment.

Behind this furry and cuteness is the need not only for pet lovers to improve their own qualities and culture, but also for the functional government to further upgrade the level of precision management. In response, action has already taken place throughout the city.

In late June this year, the Changhing County Integrated Administrative Law Enforcement Agency, in association with the Changhing County Agricultural Rural Department and Kitagawa Village Creek Camp, co-sponsored an event entitled “The Playful Park Qingxia” — the first pool party in Changhing County, which brought together more than 30 groups of dogs and family dogs to explore new ways of promoting the idea of civilized coexistence through diverse forms such as swimming pool relays, carnival clubs, civil dog awareness campaigns and pet health services.

“However, the creation of a pet-friendly environment still requires government departments to take the lead in overall planning, clarity and accountability.” In view of the fact that in recent years there have been innovative initiatives to find soft solutions, such as the development of electronic systems for the registration of dogs, the establishment of user facilities such as “paternity boxes” and the launching of a series of “civilized dog-to-community” awareness-raising activities, there are still uncivilities in the practical implementation process and, as a result, there are many voices against rearing.

In the case of dog pets, for example, Lake County first published the Civilized Dog Citizen ' s Convention at the end of last year. According to the head of the canine management unit of the Municipal Integrated Administrative Enforcement Bureau, in the past the investigation of uncivilized dog-keeping was dominated by manual inspections, but by staff members alone, the scope and duration of the inspections were limited, the penalties were largely educational and dissuasive, and the effectiveness of law enforcement was not clear. The introduction of the Citizens ' Convention on Civilization of Dogs has further encouraged the dog breeders to voluntarily regulate their dog behaviour.

From a business point of view, “petty economy” development seeks both to “detail”, to create differentiated, humane and sustainable business models, and to focus more on “regulating”, to strictly regulate the quality of market services and to ensure effective consumer protection.

The head of the pet medicine and food stores in the commercial square in the new South Asian lake suggested, on the one hand, that the Government should strengthen its supervision of the pet market, improve the system of relevant laws and regulations and impose severe penalties for violations. At the same time, relevant industry associations and consumer organizations at the municipal level should play an active role in establishing a system for evaluating the quality of pet services and complaint handling mechanisms, actively collecting feedback and suggestions from consumers and providing them with easy access to advocacy.
