In recent days, journalists have learned from the National Nature Reserve of Wu Bai Beach, Ningxia, that early this month, a hidden camera camera in the protected area captured lovely images of three leopard cubs, all round in their heads and looking very happy. Leopard cats, which are the national priority for wildlife protection at the second level, are often isolated and have the natural habit of being “one-man”. The video footage of the "three brothers" playing with each other was the first time that the area had clearly documented images of the wild activities of a group of leopards.
The presence of the “three brothers” of leopard pups in the national nature reserve at White Beach is a strong confirmation of the continuing good environmental situation in the region. In June 2021, the first appearance of an adult leopard cat marked the establishment of an ecosystem in the protected area capable of supporting the whole chain of survival of small birds. Four years later, the birth of three cubs not only confirms the integrity of the food chain in the protected areas, but also marks a new level of health for the ecosystem, which provides a good habitat and sufficient reserves of prey for leopard cats and is their ideal home for future generations to thrive.
From the establishment of the White Beach Nature Reserve in 1985 to its promotion to the National Nature Reserve in 2000, it was found at the national level to protect animals, from black storks to large storks. By May this year, it was found to protect animals, tiger skunks, at the national level, in long-flowed waterscapes.
