In recent days, there has been a high-altitude throwing in the upper part of the city of Guangxi Zhongcheng Park, which resulted in the death of several dogs. On 24 August, journalists from the south police station of the City of Zhongxio were informed that the police had opened a case and were investigating it.
On 24 January, Ms. Lou, a resident, introduced the journalist to 61 houses in the district. At about 10.30 p.m. on the evening of 21 August, she played on the lawn with a shepherd dog she had, and suddenly heard a cracking sound, when someone threw a bag of things at the top, “I almost hit my head, and I looked down and found a bag of food in a plastic bag containing pig oil and liver, etc.”. Ms. Lou said that after the slag fell on the grass, it was scattered everywhere and her family's sheepdogs and neighbor's dog thought it was dog food and licked some.
According to Ms. Lou, at more than 1 a.m. on 22 a.m., neighbours sent news in the crowd that their dog had suddenly died of a twitch. “At more than 4 a.m., my sheepdog had the same symptoms, and went crazy and ran around, and then his body twitched and died in just over 10 minutes.” Ms. Lou said, “We all suspect that the bag of pig oil that fell from the high altitude was toxic and that the dog died so soon”.
Mr. Zhou, a resident of the neighbourhood, claimed that he also lived in 61 houses and that his dog was playing downstairs on 23 March, after licking something on the lawn, died of the same symptoms.
Ms. Lu et al. filed a complaint with the property and reported to the police.
On 24 January, a staff member of the high-city property industry in Baguilan Park told the press that after a complaint had been received from the residents on 22 December, the property industry had sent a team to the scene to clean up the slag and shredded meat on the lawn, which were being kept in the property for police investigation.
According to the staff member, three families had reported the death of their dog licking pig oil slag from the lawn. Because the high-altitude throwing incident occurred at night, and the high-altitude of the building was not monitored, and it was difficult to identify the high-altitude throwers at once, “the downstairs surveillance was only recorded that something fell from above”.
Ms. Lou lives in 61 houses with a total of 34 floors and the surrounding building is far away, “it can be ascertained that someone dropped food from 61 buildings”. Ms. Lu said that they were currently issuing reward announcements in the districts and would be grateful to those who provided clues and identified high-altitude throwing.
A journalist called Zhongzo City Public Security Department police station in the south of the city and a staff member indicated that a number of residents of the district had been reported to the police and that a similar incident had occurred in the 23rd district and that an investigation had been opened by the police.
